Hargreaves Family

Walter Hargreaves born August 5th 1906 married Doris May Lilley b 22nd September 1908 on December 26th 1933. Their children were Brian born February 16th 1936 and myself born 4th November 1945.

Walter's parents were Walter September 1876 - October 1955 and Georgina Frost 25th January 1875 - 31st March 1969. They also had George ( 26/1/1900 - 21/4/1981) Bertha (1903 - May 1930) Harold ( Jan 1901 - April 1901) and Ruth (28/10/1910 - March 1989) .

This Walter's father was George Hargreaves (1846 -1896) who married Annie Mason (1847 -1883) in Hull in May 1871 , and George was the son of Richard (born 1802) and Mary Huntington ( born 1807). Richard's siblings, George (1801 -1863) Elizabeth (1804 -1880) Sarah (1806 -1868) John (1807 - 1855) and twins Thomas and Joseph born 25/12/1809 and their parents were John born 1778 and Mary. John's parents were Joseph and Elizabeth Taylor who were married in 1773. The family at this time came from Little Houghton and Barnburgh areas.

You mention visiting Joan in Rawmarsh and also Elsie and Betty. Do you have any surnames - I have lived in Rawmarsh and Parkgate all my life, so might know the names. Hope all this fits in somewhere to your tree.
