Hello Anne
This comment will probably not be helpful to you any more, as you probably now know the answer to your original query.
But let me say a word, nonetheless.
The Ebenezer Chapel is located about half way up (there's a slight slope) the left side of Chapel Walk in Masbrough. Chapel Walk was so called because of the Masborough Independent Chaepel at the top (and that's very near King Street which I knew well).
Between 1937 and 1946 I lived at no.1 Chapel Walk, which was just a stone's throw away from the Ebenezer, in fact about 50 metres away. From a child's viewpoint, to me it was always an intimidating and austere-looking dark stone building.
I've just had a look at that area on GoogleEarth, and the chapel is still standing, as is the Independent Chapel and the also the Walker Mausoleum. But both places are now serving different purposes from their original ones.
My old home on Chapel Walk is no longer there, I notice.
I hope you find what you're looking for,
Good wishes - Dennis Prestidge
