I have just acquired a book that was awarded to Sidney A. Telling at The Grammar School, Rotherham, December 1898.
This was for passing his exams.
The book is called The Concise Knowledge Natural History edited by Alfred H. Miles.
I am not researching this family line but thought this information may be useful to anyone that is.
The book has nearly 780 pages, being printed by Cowen & Co., Limited, Perth.
