for what its worth I have an anderson county TN deed dated Nov 1850 that has Emily Coward Clarkson wife of F.S. Clarkson living in Scott County ILL.

Emily was daughter of Isaac Coward and Sarah Hall and in the deed the children of Sarah Hall were settling the estate of their Mother's inferentance from Sarah's father David Hall.

Most likely Emily Coward and F.S. Clarkson were married in Anderson County TN before 1850.
