I am looking for any family of Joe Smith (b.1902 TN), wife Susie (b. 1904 KY), daughters Viola (b. 1927 TN), & Thelma (b. 1929 TN). They were living in the 13th Civil District of Anderson County during the 1930 Census. There was also two sons, R.C. & ?, both born after the 1930 census. Joe & Susie's oldest daughter Viola Susan was 1st married to James Monroe Sexton (1916-2002). He was committed to an Insane Asylum in 1962 & their children were taken away and the younger ones were adopted out. Their children are: 1)Stillborn Baby Boy Sexton, 2)Dennis James Sexton, 3)John Sexton (d. 2004), 4)Joe Sexton (twin to John), 5)Linda Sexton-Seehorn, 6)Timothy Sexton, 7)Teresa Sexton-Mowell, 8)Kathy Sexton-Vaughan-Rutger, 9)Ernest Sexton, & 10)Randall Sexton, b./d. Aug 1961. Viola died before 2002 in Washington State (we don't know what her second husband's name is). Kathy & Ernie Sexton were both adopted by the same family from Sevierville, TN. I am trying to help Kathy find her family.
