when I was a kid we had picnicks there, picked summer grapes,swam. in the middle to late 50's there was a double murder at the foot of the falls. was shut for years and became very dirty. It is now privite property and very clean, they do let in people on occasion I understand. YOu can not see it from the road, but all the old folks have tales of things that went on there and how to get there.
