Notes
Illness1:
General2,3,1,4: Note from the Record Librarian of St Mary's Hospital, 2414 Seventh Street South, Minneapolis 6, Minn dated March 8, 1963.
"To Whom This May Concern: This is to certify that Mr. Frank B. McLester was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital, Minneapolis, Minn. on Sept. 7, 1906 and expired Oct. 19, 1906 His birth given at time of admission was 42 years. He died of an apparent bladder condition.
Signed "Sister Margaret" Record Librarian.
Frank was very fond of horses. They owned a horse named "Duchess." Frank won a pedigree colt on a raffle. The colt was from some well known stables at Hope, North Dakota. The colt's pedigree name was "Lord Litton" however Frank named him "Lord Lightning." Frank painted a sulky red and was training the horse when he (Frank) became ill and died. Frank had a keen sense of humor. He said he was from Kentucky which is noted "for its beautiful horses and fast women."
If any of this comes close please get in touch I have considerable information on the descendants of Frank McLester.
Cordially,
Jack Murphy
