Jennie McConnaughy Dies;
Funeral Wednesday at 2

Funeral Services for the late Mrs Jennie McConnaughy, 81, who passed away Sunday ay 11:35 am in the home of her Daughter, Mrs Harry Snodgrass, Elm St, following a two-week illness with pneumonia, will be conducted at the place of death Wednesday afternoon at 2. Rev J.K. Leitch, pastor off the U.P. Church will officate. Interment will take place in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
Mrs McConnaughy had been crirical condition for the past week and her death was not unexpected. The Body, taken to the Howard Wilson Funeral Parlors in Bridgeport, was returned to the Snodgrass home late Sunday.
Deceased was born September 23, 1850 , in Pennsyvania, a daughter of John McNickle and Margaret Mitchell McNickle.
She reside in Bridgeport and Martins Ferry for more then 60 years. She suffered a hip injury in a fall from a streetcar in Feb 1913 and after that made her home with her Daughter, Mrs Snodgrass. Her husband, Ellas Capehear McConnaughy, well know general contractor, passed away in Bridgeport in 1908. She was a member of the West Bridgeport M.E. Church
Four Children Survive: Mrs Snodgrass, with whom she made her home, Mrs William Marshell, of Wheeling, Mrs E.E. Reed of East Chicago, Ind, William D. McConnaughy of Bridgeport. She also leaves one Sister, Mrs John Woods of Wheeling, and two Brothers, Robert McNickle of Warren, and Arthur McNickle of Wheeling. 12 grandchildren, and 5 Great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the deceased were selected by Mrs McConnaughy prior to her death, from her son-in-laws and her grandsons. They include Harry Snodgrass, of Martins Ferry, Walter L. Hare of Wheeling, E.E. Reed of East Chicago, Guy Muhlemam, of Bellaire, and Horold Snodgrass of Martins Ferry
