Michael,
Mary,s father, Johann Rembach at age 25 landed in
America on the 24th of May 1864. He boarded the ship
"Gutenberg" at Bremen, Germany. He was 25 years old
at the time. His last residence in Germany was Hausen
in Hessen Casel, Germany.
In 1880 the family lived at 3733 Wetzel St. in Wheeling,
W,Va. Between 1888 and 1893, He and his daughters
Amelia and Lizzie lived at 58- 28th St. (2nd Floor) and he
worked as a laborer for the B&O Railroad. His wife Kate
was from Berien in Germany. If you have any other info.
