I don't know if this will help, but:
I have the following:
Willaim McKenzie b. cir 1842,d. 1918, buried 11/7/1918, Wedderburn,Victoria,Australia. m. unknown cir 1865.
Child Elizabeth Hannah MCKENZIE b.1871 married William ROSS at Wedderburn,Victoria in 1857.
Children:
Donlad McLeary (1909 - 1950)
William McPherson (1901 -1974) married Anne Gillett 1928 Bendigo,Victoria
Linda Elizabeth Mons (1914 -?)
Angus Mcallister(1903-1950) married Edna May Waters 1929 Wedderburn, Victoria.

Whether or not these are connected to your William McKenzie I don't know, and in the six weeks since I have started this, I have found the Ross's to be SOOOOOOOO confusing,so I can't guarantee anything, but my information has come from the Victorian BDM historical research(Maxi) and LDS resoucres.
