Hi Heather & David. Just by chance I saw your posting, and find your information very interesting. I have just discovered the name of my gggrandfather to be Alexander McKenzie b1826 Golspie Suthlnd. who married Margaret Jane Tully in Loth 1854. Alexander and Margaret migrated to Australia in 1855 and died here. I have just recieved Alexander's death certif. that states that his parents were Donald McKenzie and Catherine Munro. (sorry, no dates)..so I'm curious to know if there is any connection to the McKenzies/Munro families that you have mentioned. I have full linage details of the McKenzie family here in Aust. Margaret Tully's father was born in Wooler Northumberland...and this place seems to connect the McKenzie/Tully/Curry/Munro families together. Do you have any ideas about all of this??
