Robert, I have been trying to trace the Pringle family for a long time. Finally, I think I have a lead, so I hope that I am right in this. Samuel Pringle was born in Pennsylvania(father unknown), but grandfather ,I think, was William Pringle, and his mother was Mary Desbrough, spelled many different ways. He married Charity Cutright from VA, and moved to WV. Some of the children's names were: William, John Elizabeth, Samuel,Sarah Ann, two unnamed children, Joel, Mahala, Wealthy, Amos, and Susanna.
