Nicholas Carpenter is my 5th or 6th great-grandfather. His daughter Sarah Carpenter married John McColley/McColly. Mary (Polly) McColley/McColly married a John Wolf in Harrison Co. Va. (now West Va.) I would be happy to share any information that I have on them.
