On p. 841 in the DAR Patriot Index (c. 1990), I find 10 listed under the heading: DIMOND; DIAMOND; DIAMENT; DYMOND.

I find:
Ephraim, Ezekiel, Israel; Jacob, James, John, John, Matthew, Reuben, & William.

I also find 8 listed under the heading of: DIMON; DIMAN.
They are: Abraham, Daniel, David, Gold, James, John, Joseph, & William.

Since spelling wasn't a priority in those days, some of your kin may be listed in any of the above ways.

If you have any ideas which first names above match your family, we can check on that for you.
