Hello J. Evans;
The NSDAR Patriot index is an index of men and women who fought in the American Revolution. Not all who fought in the American Revolution are in the index, just ladies who joined the NSDAR Membership using his lineage. I looked in the NSDAR Patriot Index and I found a Edward Hull. Is he yours?

Since someone has established membership in the NSDAR through him, you may obtain a copy of the DAR application by sending a check for $10.00 payable to Treasurer General NSDAR. Provide the patriot information and if you know the child of the Patriot through whom descent is claimed, provide that also. Mail the check along with the information to:
Record Copy Department
Registrar General NSDAR
Administration Building
1776 D Street NW
Washington, DC 20006-5303.
Requests for record copies may take six to eight weeks as they are very busy.
If you are interested in DAR membership, each chapter has members who will assist you in connecting to your Revolutionary Patriot. If you would like more information about joining DAR or finding a chapter in your area, please let me know.
Hope this helps and if we can help you again, please feel free to contact us.
Warmly,
Sara
