The application would have information about his service and perhaps more info on dates, locations and his children. To order copies send the above information with a $5 check per application made out to the Treasurer General and mail both to: Record Copy, Office of the Registrar General, 1776 D St NW, Washington DC 20006-5392.
It could take 6 to 8 weeks to receive your copy as they are
