The records affirmed what I suspected - this was a hardship case due to the inability of one, or both, parents being unable to care for the kids - common in the Depression.

The information contained in the records also gave me several more clues as to the who was where during this time amd, it also verified that a name was changed somewhere along the line so another mystery to chase down!

I can't thank you enough - it's more than I ever hoped to find!
