1. FYI, I did find the Asylum in 1880, 1900 and 1920. I've yet to find it in 1910. Here's where they're at here at Ancestry.com if you want to check them out: All are, of course, OH > Franklin > Columbus
1880: District 24 > Image 53
1900: District 56 > Images 23-26
1920: District 79 > Images 13-17
1930: District 34 is the Orphage and District 35 is the college

Note. The Orphanage moved to what is now northern Columbus in 1931 and closed in 1932.

2. I do not know whether "officer" was a title used by the Orphanage or a term that the enumerator used for lack of a better title. I will ask Michael about this when I visit.
