I am looking for info on the Schmidts of Columbus (German Village and Grandview Heights Village). This is the Frank Schmidt family (not the Fred Schmidt family of "Schmidt's Restaurant" fame). His family (father Leonhard and mother Adelhaid) came to Columbus around 1888 or so from Germany...Frank had sisters that married into the Doersam, Kiefer and Baumert families....

Frank married a Leudegarde Neuschwanger and had at least eight children:
Cornelia, Otto, Bertha (Roberts), William, Leo, Rose, Helen & Albert. He died in 1922 and had been president of the Columbus Meat Packing Plant
