A book I have titled "Branded as Rebels" by Joanne Chiles Eaken lists James L. Tucker as having been with Quantrill. Also a John H. Tucker is said to have shown up for the Quantrill reunions. William D. Tucker is listed as having been with Quantrill.

"Noted Guerrillas" by John N. Edwards, about Quantrill's guerrillas, mentions James Tucker several times. The book is good reading, first-hand accounts, completely biased.
