Mariah Callaby (Cariby) was my GGGGrandmother. Her daughter Caroline McBow married Samson Hawkins. Caroline died early in the marriage and it was left to Mariah (by then known as Mariah White (or Granny White)to raise the children of their marriage. Mariah died at the age of 86 on the 23rd August 1927. She died of (1) senility (2) Pneumonia (3) Heart failure. Her son Charles McBow certified the death.
She is buried in the Clermont Cemetry. On the death certificate there is no mention of Caroline McBow as she was already deceased.
