My g/grandfather, Alexander GUNNING married Emma FITCH (b.1874), on 11 August 1894. Emma was under the age of consent(21), so her mother Harriet Fitch signed the consent of marriage.
They were married at the residence of brother-in-law of the bride, W.G. Adams, the Pilot Houses, Newcastle, NSW, according to the rites & ceremonies of the Presbyterian Church.
Their daughter, Harriett Annie, was born 18 July 1896 at Pilot Station, Newcastle NSW. Both Emma & Harriett died 1897. Emma was 23 years old.
