I was surfing ancestry.com.au looking for Mears Famiily members and I saw your message. My husband is a descendant of George William Mears and Ada Lily Boughton the grandson of Frederik and Sarah Mears through their son George Johnson Mears and Mary Jane Withers.
George and Ada had a daughter Hilda Miriam who married Herbert John Foster. Hilda and Herbert were my husbands grandpartents. So I too have married into the family.
I would be happy to supply any information that you haven't already gotten. Only two of Hilda's seven children are still alive, interestingly it is the eldest two.
Unfortunately the family haven't any pictures of the family that I know of. I was wondering if you would email me copies.
