I saw your posting and am hoping to have a match. I am descended from Henrietta (Etter) Pearl McCollum whose father was Joe McCollum from the NW Alabama area. I feel he lived around the Franklin and Colbert Co area. Joe is the only name I have and have been unable to place him with his family. The only other info. I have is that he and my GGrandmother divorced and he remarried. He had another daughter whose name I believe was or is Mamie and she married a Whitt. I do not have a birth date but assume him to be born not long after 1900. I hope you can help and I will be glad to share any info. on this family that I have.
