Alexander (Gow)Smith entered the Union Army in 1863. He was from Stirling Scotland. Family story says he had a wife and two kids in Scotland (Rose and Frank). He married Mary Ann Lewis. They had William Henry, Robert, Danile, James, Meryl Hepatine (known as Hep), and John (Valuntine). I have info on Hep and his line but I am looking for info on the rest of the Smith's. They lived in Marion County AL (and in Hamilton). They married Palmers, Wiginton's, Lewis's and Brown's. Would like further info on Wiginton's (Nancy and Hettie Lee and their kin)and Emaline Brown (b 20 Nov 1839). Thanks!!!!!!
