Did you post a corrected Obit in the newspapers in KY, Houston, anyplace else?
Newspaper can't remove an OBIT, but I'm sure having a corrected one showing she wasn't his wife should be enough. SS needs a marriage lic. and she couldn't produce one. If either of them kept up payments on life Ins. guess she is entitled to it. She might have taken the life ins out on him. You said it was posted online? Run a correction attached to it.
