This is what I have concerning the land grants:
Alexander Grant was granted a patent by the Crown on 7 Aug 1807 for the W 1/2 of Lot 24.
Then on 6 May 1829 via his will he passed it to Richard N Grant (his son). In the 1851 Agricultural Census has Richard living on Lot 24. Later on 23 Jan 1863 Richard sold to a bank/savings in Canada (It could have been a mortagage). His son John Alexander is listed on the lot in the 1879 Glengarry Atlas.
Richard in his own right had two other land grant requests in his own name (1815/1818) but I have not located which lot/conc # these were linked to. He also received one grant from his father-in-law E 1/2 lot 17 6th Con.
