I've just read your e mail & have been trying to find out some information about my mothers friend Stefan (sadly we don't know his sir name). Recently I discovered a story that she had written about him . It contained the same information that you had described. From what she has wriiten he left Poland (Warsaw) 1n 1939 managed to get to France then onto England. It appears he went to Scotland with the newly fromed Polish army trained hard with them. Then transfered to the RAF where he did training in Canada under the Empire Air Training Scheme until his return to England. He flew with an all Polish crew many times until his last mission on the 27th of August 1944 where he was shot down on his homecoming.

I would be delighted to hear form you if you think this has any revelance.
