I have 2 relatives that I just cannot find at all. It’s like they disappeared off the face of the earth. They were my grandmothers’ brothers. She never heard from them once they moved to Canada in 1910.

I found one brother going to Chicago Dec 1911. I think it was for work. Then there is no sign of him at all.
I’ve looked again on Ancestry and searched the web many of times. I cannot find him going from to US back to Canada or anywhere else. I cannot find a death record. What next?
On is border crossing paper it said he was going to see brother Peter Kowalik at 463 Halsted in Chicago. I’m not too sure if Peter was a brother he is not one that I knew so maybe he was a cousin or uncle. I googled that area it’s industrial.

His name was Klem Kowalyk (Kowalik) born in Wasylów, (Rava Ruska) Galicia at the time. It’s now a part of Poland. He was Ukrainian. His father was Stefan Kowalyk his mother was Ksenia Kowalyk (nee Polisha).

The another brother was George Kowalyk (born Danylo) approx. born between 1899-1902. Last I see of him is working in Brantford, Ontario at the New American Hotel as a bellboy in 1913. Then I cannot find him in the census. The people I have found are not him.
Weird how 2 disappeared.
My cousin and I are trying every angle we can think of and we end up at a road block.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
