James Stanley was born in Quadring Lincolnshire England on 5th April 1891, he arrived in Halifax Nova Scotia on 11th March 1911.
In 1915 James joined the Canadian Expeditionary force, military no: 426533. I have recently found out that he died in the Grey Nun's hospital Regina on 17th August 1938 and was buried in the Regina cemetery on 20th August 1938. He was married to a lady by the name of Margaret, I think her middle name could have been Maud, as a Margaret Maud Stanley was buried in the Riverside Memorial Park cemetery on 11th April 1958. I don't know if they had any children,
