I just noticed the name as I was looking for something else in Genconnect. I don't know if I can help you or not. I lived in Ipswich, Queensland some years ago opposite a family by the name of Grimmond. My children and their children grew up together and were good friends. The parents, Lyal & Marie are dead now (both having died at a fairly early age) but Lyal's mother is still alive and living at Redbank Queensland, she would have to be in her 80's at least. Lyal had a brother who died in his 20's -the only other sibling. They had 2 children Kyle (born about 1960) and Leith (born about 1962). My daughter is still in contact with Leith who is now married with 3 girls, living in Melbourne. I am not sure of Lyal's mother's name (only knowing her as the kids referred to her as Granny Grimmond), nor can I remember his father's name.
