It is a crest, is it? If so, what colours are the twisted 'rope' under the lion's feet? Do you have a coloured graphic that we could possibly see? Any idea from which heraldic jurisdiction it emanated? Any pwrticular time period? Colours of all the component parts if a graphic not available? All/any of these things will make it easier for us to assist.
