Do you know what part of the South he may have murdered his wife & her lover? Do you know the time frame for the supposed murders? Could her lover have been the hired hand?

Could "Jack" have been Irish and/or from a coal-mining family?

I have been searching after a similar legend.I'd like to discuss this further but in order to protect his descendants I need more information about this man before I can disclose the name I have. Thanks.
