Good Morning Everyone,
Here is some family lore passed down through our family lines of Fraley-Smith-Sturgill concerning babies.
1) Don't cut a child's hair before the age of 1 year; or they will die.
2) If a baby does not get colic before the age of 1 year they will die.
3) Never take a child to a funeral--very bad luck!
4) Never let a child see itself in a mirror before the age of 1 year--I am really hung up on this old lore!
5) A very bright child will not live long-another lore that haunts me.
6) Never think to much of any child-and still another old lore that scares me.
It is amazing how family lore can mold a person's thinking.
