I'm trying to locate Thomas L. Smith's parents. He was born 1819 and died New York City,New York buried in Saratoga Springs,Saratoga County,New York. I have 2 birth places for Thomas, Aspinwall,New Granada & Charlestown. I don't know how true this is but, as the story goes Smith was a given name. I was told that Thomas's family were of Shaman Indian Tribe.
