don't let some loser chase you away from something you like doing....

i had a bad experience myself....
i've been working on some of my family info off and on for about 10-12 yrs....well a couple of years ago i had my bag with my research in my car (this car had temperamental door locks)....while my car was parked outside of my house someone apparently broke into it during the night and stole the bag....it was a normal looking book bag.

of course mom blamed it on me...which it was my bad to leave it in the car...but when you think of a thief, you don't think of someone that would want to touch a book bag....it's not like it was a purse or money laying out in the car. it was a book bag.

luckily, i remembered enought of the names and birth years to start back over...so at least i didn't have to start completely from scratch. but it's just the idea of the thing that you can't even leave something as benign as a book bag in your car without some loser getting to it.
