Have you tried looking for descendants of your BURRELLs on the Guion-Miller Roll? There are several BURRELLs from GA and NC [including a Jesse and a Jesse, Jr.] listed on the index at >>>>
http://www.archives.gov/research/arc/native-americans-guion-... >>>>>
You might want to look for other surnames of their descendants. ------------
The title of this database is: ---
Index to Applications Submitted for the Eastern Cherokee Roll of 1909 (Guion Miller Roll), 1909 - 1910 ---
This index is for microfilm of applications for Indian funds in 1909-1910. I have found a lot of descendants of NC-born persons living in NW GA who applied for Indian funds. There is much family information on the applications [names, birth dates, birthplaces, etc. of parents, siblings, etc]. These microfilm can be found in a lot of genealogy departments of libraries. Copies can also be ordered from the National Archives. ---
Hope this helps,
