A very kind person on this board awhile back directed my to the Afrigeneas web site. (http://www.afrigeneas.com/slavedata/).

They have a Slave Data Collection that people contribute to. Whenever I come across a will or deed with mentions of slaves I submit it there.

I would like to point out that it can be a good source for your general research, African American or not. I found information someone had submitted on one of my 3rd great grandfathers that broke down a brick wall that I had been banging my head against for some time.
