My father-in-law POOLE has a DNA Y-match to Dixon HARP..

Other DNA matches are with people who have Tobius HARP and Walter "Cooper" POOLE in their lineages.

HARPs and POOLEs were together in 1800 Fairfield Co., SC which is about the time our William POOLE was born.

Our William POOLE married Polly Ann JOHNSON in Newton Co. GA in 1824 and appears in Hancock Co., GA in 1830.

Through our well-documented genealogies and through DNA matches (matches with every line including Johnson), we are certain the the HARP entered with William.
