New SItton Families of NC, 1700s DNA project at FTDNA

We have just started a new DNA project at FTDNA focused primarily on three Sitton families who resided in North Carolina in the 1700s, but is open to anyone researching any Sitton lines that might be connected to any of these families. It is not limited to y-chrome tests, but will include efforts to research autosomal dna matches. If you have tested at ancestry.com and are considering transferring your results to FTDNA, this group might be of help to you. Below is the link to the public website. Sitton is a relatively uncommon name and it is likely that many Sitton family lines will be connected to these families from the 1700s.
