Thank you for your message. Yes, I was told by the State of North Carolina that my mother was part Cherokee, and I also have a great, great, great grandmother on my father's side who was Cherokee. I was given up by my parents as a baby, and can't find anything on my birth mother as far as her birth or parents. I could only find a couple that adopted a baby about her age in North Carolina, but I don't know if it was her. There is nothing on her at all regarding her birth records, or death for that matter.
