For most people, Mayflower ancestors are farther back than DNA will go. You have to match your trees built out as far as possible against others who have their trees built out that far. Then, when you have a DNA match, you will have something to compare a couple generations newer from a Mayflower ancestor. I do have a Mayflower ancestor and have had DNA matches to some of his descendants.
