You can upload his raw data to FTDNA and GEDmatch. FTDNA allows for a beneficiary to be posted on your profile.
If you leave your login-IDs, passwords and data files to your DNA tests with your will and other similar things, they will be available to others who manage your and your husband's estate. What people do with them is unpredictable.
The only downside I see is the same with any data: it's hard to know today what might be done in the future. If you want to leave a legacy, those are risks that most people are willing to take.
