Just curious, I have my DNA submitted on Ancestry along with my father's aunt's DNA. Figure this eliminates any DNA coming in from my mother's line.

As expected, we both come back with a strong DNA match (1st-2nd cousins) but while I do find a few trees that we both connect with as possible 4-6th cousins, there are others that she connects with that I do not. Is this just due to my DNA being a couple of generations more diluted than hers?

I would think that some of these would have popped up in the "distant cousin" category in my DNA results, that is why I ask...
