My personal experience is that most people do not reply to messages. If they do, they deny their trees with DNA results attached are locked or send me some mumbo jumbo reply that makes little to no sense to me.

I would like to see all of the DNA results forced to be unlocked. It is decidedly unfair that they have full access to all the unlocked matches while hiding theirs. I also realize this isn't going to happen, but I am entitled to my opinion.

Good luck with your DNA research. I have spent several months, much money, many lessons, and oodles of different websites - in an attempt to understand and get what is considered "better" test results. I am not a dumb person, but frankly I see zero benefits to paying and using the sites with chromosome painting and other such doodads. I am not a DNA scientist, nor do I want to be. If the results here on Ancestry are even close to being accurate, that is good enough for me.
