yeah I kind of guessed that western Europe does have that underlying celtic culture between them.

As an Irish person I was a little bit surprised to get Western Europe in my DNA report and not to get British at all. I assume it could come from the Norman invasion of Ireland in the middle ages. I noticed in the cousin connection one of two french sounding names as possible 4th cousin. So I am just guessing at this stage the origin of the west european.

If I had to guess , i'd guess Norman French right now.
