I am English and I have just had my DNA results come back as 31% Europe West, 27% Scandinavia, 25% Irish, only 12% Great Britain and 5% Trace regions. I'm shocked because my family tree on all sides is British Isles (mostly English and some Welsh and Scottish )
up to the 1700s with only a tiny bit Irish from about the 1790s!
