I'm in a similar boat. I tested myself and ended up with results I expected (which disagreed with what some of my family said). I ended up grabbing 3 of the tests recently when they were on sale for $79 and free shipping. Contacted my parents and actually got them to agree and mailed in those tests a week and a half ago. Have a spare that I can use with either my mother's aunt who is a half sibling of her mother or my father's sister who is also a half sibling. Due to these relationships, I think I actually have half decent potential to determine which matches are derived from which side of my trees.
