It is just that today you know not to marry cousins.
I had not heard the rumor. And when she told me I was a little repulsed by the whole thing. I believe that is all it
is with her.
She told me that our great grandmother had many miscarriages because they were cousins.
Her first known child was my grandmother and she had her at 26 which was very old back then in the kind of communities
they came from. Girls married at 16 .
There is a lot of brilliance coming out of this side of my family, scientists, engineers, doctors etc, so it certainly had no affect on mental capacity.
I tried to post a picture of the chromosomes with a screen shot, but it shows her name and other matches names.
If I figure out how to do it I'll post it.
If I compare how the chromosomes match looks with her, to a suspected 3rd cousin there is a huge difference.
