Unfortunately there were no Slocums aboard the General Slocum when she went down. If you have any evidence that a family by this name might have been involved, please let me know what it is, and perhaps we can find them together. But most of the GS families were Germans with a few Irish, Polish, and other residents, mostly from the East side of New York City.
